I Don’t Move, You Move Me ii
BLW Associates Residency, 2019

I Don’t Move, You Move Me ii was shown at Back Lane West residency space, Redruth, at the end of a one month residency during 2019.

I Don't Move, You Move Me ii is an installation featuring a combination of sculpture and video that references architecture and nature. Through the interplay of geometrical and organic elements, the installation examines interior and exterior spaces and themes of life, death, and rebirth.

The sculptures are repurposed earlier works taken from decorative details such as stucco and table legs, which have been transformed into spherical forms viewed from above. These objects are both mirrored and animated in the accompanying film, creating a looping effect that reflects on the cyclical nature of existence.

The film is a collage of images taken from ancient buildings, which have eroded over time, giving them an organic rock-like quality. Serving as points of connection, collision, and separation, they contemplate the links between our constructed environment and the natural world.
